About the event

Join us for a movie night at Harvey Hall!

Royal Wee:

During Queen Elizabeth II's 1973 visit to Prince Edward Island, Canada, Acadians endeavour to assassinate her, by blowing up the outhouse built for her relief on the road to Mont-Carmel, as revenge for the Government of Prince Edward Island closing all Acadian schools except one in 1972.

ponek-apc-amonopekek:

Emma Hassencahl- Perley came to the Village of Alma and Fundy National Park. This would be her first time experiencing this beautiful place. This mini documentary showcases Hassencahl-Perley's visit to Fundy, her process of painting large scale murals, and conversations around the Indian Act and the term ‘legislative identity’.

A special thank you to Painted Haus Art Cafe located in Riverside Albert, New Brunswick.
